Details: This is a part-time and fully remote role

Hi there! I’m looking for a creative and detail-oriented virtual assistant to support my podcast Create & Consume with social media content and blog posts. 

This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, enjoys working behind the scenes on creative projects and is familiar with podcast content, short-form video, and AI tools.

✨ Current VA Responsibilities:

  • Upload YouTube video podcast episodes to Opus AI to generate short-form video clips and identify top 2 clips that the tool produces.

  • Create captions and schedule out approved short-form clips on the Create & Consume Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube shorts accounts.

  • Create and format recap blog posts from podcast outlines using ChatGPT (or your preferred AI tool) and upload drafts to Squarespace for Austen to review.

  • Provide unique episode promo graphics like reel covers and blog graphics in Canva Pro by updating ready-made templates for each episode.

📌 Additional Info:

  • This role starts at a few hours per month and may expand to include more production support over time (ex: episode scheduling on Spotify) or other platforms (ex: Pinterest)

  • Must have a Canva Pro account and be comfortable using or learning tools like Squarespace, ChatGPT, Opus AI and Riverside.

  • Must respond to all emails within 48 hours of receiving them and proactively reach out when questions/problems arise.

  • Strong organizational skills, understanding of current social trends and creative design skills are a huge plus.

About the host:

Austen Tosone is a fashion and beauty content creator and influencer educator based in NYC/Hoboken. She started a blog in 2012 and a YouTube channel in 2017 so it’s only natural that eventually she’d venture into long-form audio content and launch a podcast. She has been published in publications like Refinery29, Nylon and Byrdie and has appeared on dozens of podcasts as a guest.
